The Bun Clip is just perfect for creating a quick and easy updo in long hair. Measuring approximately 8cm by 6cm, this unusual hair claw has been cleverly designed with no springs. Instead, made from light and flexible plastic, this hair claw relies, not on springs, but on the weight of your own hair to hold it in place.
Very light and comfortable to wear (the claws lie flat against the back of your head), thanks to its long claws, this clip will comfortably hold normal hair and thick hair in a chignon or hair bun. The bun clip is very comfortable in fine hair too, but for added grip and hold, if you do have fine hair (especially just-washed hair), we'd recommend using a Scünci Large Polyband to secure your ponytail when following the instructions below. Available in two colour options; black & shell.
Instructions for use (as pictured from top to bottom):
1. With one hand, gather your hair into a snug ponytail.
2. Twist the ponytail firmly in an upward motion, to form a pleat or chignon (tuck the ends of the ponytail under for a more classic look, or leave loose for a funky french flip).
3. Continue to hold the pleat up with your hand, and squeeze open the bun clip with your other hand. Then, push the claws from one side of the clip, firmly into your hair, wrap the clip around your hair, and push the claws at the other side of the clip, firmly into your hair.
4. To ensure a firm grip an hold, push both sides of the clip firmly towards each other until you feel the claws from each side lock into each other.
