From our own range of hair accessories, this 2-pack Spin Pins contains two revolutionary hair pins that can be used to secure your hair in a limitless number of styles - everything from a stylish wrapped ponytail to a classic chignon. In fact, pretty much any up do that you can create with a pack of bobby pins, you can do with just a couple of these amazing spin pins!

Each black metal pin measures approximately 5.5cm long and is ideal for use in hair that is mid-length and longer.  Suitable for all hair types from fine through to thick, these spin pins (or hair screws as they are sometimes known) are so easy to use.

For every style you choose to create with your spin pins, the method remains the same each and every time.  First you twist your hair into the style you desire, and then you spin the pin clockwise into your hair.  Carry on spinning until the pin is as close to your head as possible, and it feels firm and secure in your hair.  To remove, all you need to do is unscrew the pin in an anti-clockwise motion.

Get creative - the number of styles you can create with your spin pins is limitless!  If you're after a more undone bun, why not try swapping your hair donut for a twisted ponytail wrapped at the back of your head and secured with a couple of spin pins.

As a taster of what these magic pins can do for you and your hair, here are instructions for just three of the fabulous styles you can create with your spin pins.

1. The Wrapped Ponytail

Spin Pin Ponytail
  • Gather your hair into a ponytail, leaving a small section free.
  • Wrap this section around the base of the ponytail to form a band.
  • Screw a spin pin clockwise into the base of the ponytail, firmly securing the ends of the band.
2. The Front Bump

Spin Pin Front Bump
  • Separate the top section of your hair (at the crown, just above your ears) and gather on the top of your head.  For a more tousled, just-out-of-bed look use your fingers to do this. For a sleeker look, section using a tail comb.
  • Twist hair twice and push this section of hair forward to form the bump.
  • Firmly spin a pin (using a clockwise motion) through the twisted hair.
  • Take a second pin and spin it in from the other side so that it crosses the first spin pin.
3. The Chignon

Spin Pin Chignon
  • Gather hair into a ponytail at the base of the head.
  • Twist ponytail upwards to form a roll.
  • Fold ends of hair back down and push this hair underneath the roll - this action creates the chignon.
  • Spin a pin clockwise downwards into the roll.
  • Take a second pin and spin clockwise into the roll from the bottom upwards.
